CHILDREN

Children's Church at Westminster offers a variety of ways for children to practice their spirituality and to grow in faith. Children are invited to participate in activities to learn more about God, the stories of our faith, and how to make choices to live with respect in Creation.

The Children's Church team uses several resources including "Picture the Bible" and make the conversation and activities inclusive and comfortable for children of all learning abilities. We also have a quiet activity table at the back of the sanctuary for children and their families. At least once a month children are invited to stay and worship with their family. On those Sunday's there are activities at the back of the sanctuary.

We focus on making Sunday School inclusive and comfortable for children with all learning abilities. With our program being led by volunteers from every part of the Westminster family, each has their own way of understanding and talking about the Bible!
